A new study published by the medical journal of Neurology has released interesting findings possibly linking cardiovascular fitness to dementia risk. The data, gathered from 191 women in Sweden, 38 to 60 years old, showed that those that had high cardiovascular fitness showed an 88% lower risk for dementia than those that were in the medium cardiovascular fitness group. However, it is imporant to consider that there are also many other factors that may be linked to dementia not considered in the study (smoking, diet, genetics, etc.).
